Introduction

This lesson plan will introduce students to the holistic Transcendentalist movement – from the key concepts, figures, works, and impacts of American Transcendentalism to the Hindu and Confucian influences on Transcendentalism – to create a well-informed understanding of the Transcendentalist movement.
